The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping covers key topics in depth, ensuring students have the solid bookkeeping skills necessary for most finance roles. Students will develop practical accountancy skills in the double-entry bookkeeping system and in using associated documents and processes, as well as dealing with VAT and trial balances while developing their understanding of the relationship between various accounting records.

This qualification comprises of two units – 115 Total guided learning hours (GLH):

Learning outcomes

  3. Process supplier transactions
  4. Process receipts and payments
  5. Process transactions into the ledger accounts

Assessments

You will be assessed via examination, for this course you will need to sit one exam. Exams are computer based, and have a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes. Exams are sat at an AAT exam centre or remotely. Find an exam centre near you.
