The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting provides grounding in the core accounting topics needed to develop the knowledge and skills required to progress into an accounting related role. This course also develops transferable business and personal skills, alongside core accountancy skills.

This qualification comprises of four units – 225 Total guided learning hours (GLH):

Assessments

You will be assessed via examination, for this course you will need to sit four exams. The exams for Introduction to Bookkeeping, Principles of Bookkeeping Controls and Principles of Costing have a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes each. The Business Environment Synoptic Assessment has an exam duration of 2 hours. Exams are computer based, and can be sat remotely or at an AAT exam centre. Find an exam centre near you.
