The course then moves on to look at what factors can affect the use of logistics services. Why you need to use more than one type of services and the objectives of logistics operations. Return on Investment (ROI) and the importance of adopting cost effective solutions are also addressed.

The course concludes by looking at how to improve and develop the logistics based resources which are used in logistics operations. Looking at how to measure and manage logistics performance including key performance indicators, The Balanced Scorecard and The Supply Chain Operations Reference Model (SCOR) – all of which play a vital role in selecting and implementing the right management systems and resources to support your logistics operations.
