Role: Telesales Training and Development Advisor

At DLC Training we pride ourselves on the support we can offer individuals and organisations from the moment they leave an enquiry with us. To do this, we have a dedicated team of Course Advisors available to provide recommendations, answer queries and ensuring the enrolment process is seamless.

It is essential that candidates for this role have proven sales experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to enquiries provided to you through our lead generation streams with relevant course information and company USP’s
  • Recommend training solutions ideally suited to the prospect through assessment and questioning during telephone/email communication
  • Identify upselling opportunities with prospective clients
  • Negotiation of sales contracts and bespoke packages
  • Maintain accurate records by updating our CRM system
  • Manage and organise an active and growing pipeline
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets with consistency

Required Skills:

  • Excellent telephone/communication skills
  • Experience in retaining knowledge on a large variety of products
  • Experience in objection handling
  • Pipeline management
  • Relationship building
  • Ability to work to target and manage own workload
  • Ability to work within a pressured sales role
  • Competent with IT and CRM systems
  • Able to work alone successfully and motivate yourself
  • Good listening skills
  • High standard of written communication

Full product training will be provided, with on-going support and guidance available from your Team Leader and Sales Manager.

This is a full-time hybrid role, the standard working hours are;
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 15:00

Friday: 08:30 – 15:00

Hybrid Working:
We have no set office days, but you may be asked to attend face to face training, group sessions and meetings.

Salary: £25,000 per annum (experience dependent – salary band from £23,500 – £25,000)
OTE: from £30,000 + uncapped commission over target achievement
25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
