If you are serving, have served or are a veteran of HM UK Armed Forces, and you are wanting to re-train or certify your military training and experience with an industry recognised qualification, then you’ve came to the right place…

Our Commitment to the UK Armed Forces

DLC Training is committed to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the value Serving Personnel, both Regular and Reservists, Veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.

Here at DLC, we will endeavour in our business dealings to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, which are:

1. No member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen; and

2.In some circumstances, special treatment may be appropriate, especially for the injured or bereaved.

Our aim is to make the transition from any of our forces as seamless as possible. The inclusion of this scheme contributes to our goal, and our obligation to assist members and veterans of the Armed Forces wherever possible.

We’re proud, to not only be a Bronze certified ambassador for the Armed Forces Covenant, but to also be an ELCAS approved training provider, meaning you can use your Enhanced Learning Credits with us.

We offer armed forces and veterans industry recognised qualifications and online distance learning to help you prepare for life on Civvy Street. No matter which industry you’re looking to find employment in, or even your current level of study, we have a huge range of distance learning courses to suit you and your career aspirations.

We provide professional, accredited qualifications in:

From accredited, globally recognised institutes such as CILT, CIPS, CIPD, ILM, IOSCM, and CMI and IOM.

“The completion of a distance learning course using my Enhanced Learning Credits certainly helped my CV when applying for a civilian job. I would certainly recommend DLC to any potential students looking to gain a creditable qualification within the Supply Chain sector.”

– Pete Sisson Formerly Cpl, Royal Logistics Corp. Read  Pete’s full story here.

We understand that returning to civilian life for forces personnel can be a daunting thought, let alone imagining tackling CV’s and job interviews. Whilst we both know, you’ll have a huge amount of experience, knowledge and transferable skills to comfortably get employment on the other side, many employers need the qualifications to prove it.

Luckily, with the help of DLC and Enhanced Learning Credits, we can get your foot onto the career ladder in a way that suits you. Whether you prefer revising and sitting exams, completing assignments or perhaps, you’d prefer to avoid it all and pass units using by submitting evidence of your current skills – we have a qualification and study method for you.

“I found the course that I wanted to start on; the Institute of Supply Chain Management (IoSCM) level 5 Diploma in Managing the Supply Chain. Most of my subordinates and peers in the Royal Navy were looking at the CILT (UK) Logistics and Transport qualifications.  There are many reason why I did not choose this route; 1) it was more expensive, 2) you have to do exams and; 3) having researched both institutes, I felt that IoSCM offered me more in terms of support as a student and as a member.”

 – Scott Hill, Ex Royal Navy Warrant Officer (1st Class). Read Scott’s full story here.

If you’re unsure of what you want to study, how you’d like to study or even which qualification would be best suited to you and your skills, we have an expert team of tutors, mentors and course advisors with a strong military background, waiting for your call.
